A trip to Japan on a mission of a lifetime in order to uncover a priceless gem believed to be buried in a shipwreck deep within the Sea of Japan—takes a startling, and dangerous, turn for Rachel and Chase. A murder mystery, treasure hunt and a prophecy that would kill millions..... all set in the exotic locations of Japan.

Sometimes these are contradictions that are put in to show the unreliability of the character? I wonder... Otherwise, sounds like a really cool and interesting, edge of your seat read! LOLOne concern that I had with the book is that there were a few minor contradictions. For example, Rachel tells Chase that she had been feeling sick for the past two days. A paragraph later, she tells him that “It’s probably just the food from this morning”. However, these contradictions were few and minor.

Strangerthanfiction wrote:Great review! I am a big fan of mystery/suspense novels. This one sounds very intriguing, being set in Japan and featuring treasure hunting adventure. Most especially its description of being an edge of your seat ride is a huge draw. Thanks so much for sharing.

This indeed seems like quit the page turner!! I am adding this to want to read list! I read the first several pages and ended up downloading the book on kindle. For anyone who likes a mystery, should definitely read this, so far I can't wait to start turning pages!!?
