I just follow what a lot of doctors has said, Dreams (especially horrible ones) Resemble a cruel or frustrating thing that has made you paranoid or a unforgetable segment or happening. I know it's happend to me quite a few times.BooksByEssie wrote:I wouldn't say that it resembles anything in real life. That would be like saying that an author who dreams about vampires and then writes his or her story must be a vampire or someone in their life is. It was a dream that had excessive creative overtones in it. Think of this dream as someone watching a movie, and I was the movie goer.Jacob wrote: Sorry to hear that, that must of been a wild dream. It's good not to talk about this anymore, but that entire dream must resemble something in reality.

While this is sometimes true, dreams can also be a manifestation of your imagination, or they can simply be based on something that you read or watched, even if it was days or weeks ago. I'm a huge Dexter Fan, and I've read some pretty creepy stuff that I wish I hadn't, but its still will me. I really don't appreciate the implication that anywhere in my reality something like this would happen. Sometimes dreams are just dreams. Think about all of the horror authors out there...do you think their lives resemble what they write?Jacob wrote: I just follow what a lot of doctors has said, Dreams (especially horrible ones) Resemble a cruel or frustrating thing that has made you paranoid or a unforgetable segment or happening. The only thing that really comes to mind is the person you can never tell me to stop talking about, Stephen King. Like I have said before, the things he writes resembles the scares he has encountered in real life.BooksByEssie wrote:While this is sometimes true, dreams can also be a manifestation of your imagination, or they can simply be based on something that you read or watched, even if it was days or weeks ago.
