This is an interesting story of the good guys reaching out to level the playing fields for those that could not get justice in a conventional way. They have to do a little wrong just to make things right. The main character has to lead a double life, being a charitable fellow by day and a leader of his covert team by night to bring justice to where the long arms of the law could not reach. They specialize in retrieving missing persons, those being kidnapped, or those that disappeared by their own volition or intention. This promises to be a nice read.

I love action thrillers so I think this one will be a great read for me. The philanthropy also is a nice element and NYC is where I live so I always love when that is involved. Cant wait to read!

The book seems to be really exciting with lots of action and fast paced enough to my liking. Agreeing to find a man who disappeared when the Twin Towers fell Royce never expected to dodge foreign agents, the NYPD, the NSA, and even the F.B.I. There must be something serious behind that vanishing if he encounters so many problems. It will interesting to figure this out.

Loved the sarcastic humor in this book. Fast paced and entertaining. As others have said, it would be perfect for a TV series. I look forward to reading more from this author.

I love books about shadow societies who are working with (and a little against) the good guys for a much bigger good - like reuniting loved ones! I worked in the industry during 9/11, so those stories are always near and dear to my heart. I'm a chapter or two into Do a Little Wrong and I can't wait to read more!

Thank you for the clarification on the Shakespeare quote! I was a little hesitant about what I might be getting myself into based on the title alone. Your review, however, cleared up all the doubt. You had me at Jack Reacher! I have added Do a Little Wrong to my Want to Read shelf. Thank you for the great review!

I really enjoyed reading your review. You went into depth with your character descriptions and how you could relate with their roles. The title of this book caught my interest. I agree that sometimes you need to do a little wrong in order to do good. I look forward to reading this adventurous thriller!

Both the review and synopsis of this book reminded me of Bruce Wayne/Batman. I'm excited to see where this author will take me.

I am a huge Lee Child's fan (have read all his books), so this book is one I can't wait to start reading. I'm definitely pleased that the review made me aware of the comparison of the authors' writings.
However, spelling and grammatical errors are a "pet peeve" of mine, so I hope the few mentioned will not be a distraction to me.

Do a little wrong by Don't Dahler
*Spoilers *
"With all due respect. That's not the right knife."

That's the first thing I read as I open the book. It was quite unexpected to me since I've not read much on thrillers.

"OK...let's continue with the story." I tell myself.
I find myself smiling or grinning as I continue reading the story.
Kyle Royce is an awesome male protagonist. He has a kind of perfectionist attitude and his thoughts are similar to what people think.

"I have a hard time liking people who acquire the best of things, just to have the best of things and never use them."
I give this a round of applause...CLAP!CLAP!

He values his bros (guy friends) and as I read their descriptions, I was envious of their talents and skills. Goes to show you that to have awesome people around you, you need to be awesome yourself.

So the first chapter ends where the lost son is together with his father and both of them and the crew (Kyle and his gang) sets off to New York City.

As much as I'd love to talk more about this book, I'll have to stop here. Why? Because I'll ruin the fun for those interested.

The book I mark it a 3/4. I find Don Dahler to be quite a good author because not only does this story give a sense of mystery and action but also a bit of humor to a supposed thriller.

This book feels like a superhero origin story. I would love to add it to my reading list.

Based on this review, Do A Little Good does sound like a very readable and entertaining romp, seemingly in the style of such classics as Ian Flemmings' James Bond. I do feel, from this description, that the character, the confident playboy, lacks the emotional depth that traditionally drives a compelling action thriller. If the book itself is more focused on these elements, then I am interested in reading this unique story.
