However, spelling and grammatical errors are a "pet peeve" of mine, so I hope the few mentioned will not be a distraction to me.

*Spoilers *
"With all due respect. That's not the right knife."

That's the first thing I read as I open the book. It was quite unexpected to me since I've not read much on thrillers.
"OK...let's continue with the story." I tell myself.
I find myself smiling or grinning as I continue reading the story.
Kyle Royce is an awesome male protagonist. He has a kind of perfectionist attitude and his thoughts are similar to what people think.
"I have a hard time liking people who acquire the best of things, just to have the best of things and never use them."
I give this a round of applause...CLAP!CLAP!
He values his bros (guy friends) and as I read their descriptions, I was envious of their talents and skills. Goes to show you that to have awesome people around you, you need to be awesome yourself.
So the first chapter ends where the lost son is together with his father and both of them and the crew (Kyle and his gang) sets off to New York City.
As much as I'd love to talk more about this book, I'll have to stop here. Why? Because I'll ruin the fun for those interested.
The book I mark it a 3/4. I find Don Dahler to be quite a good author because not only does this story give a sense of mystery and action but also a bit of humor to a supposed thriller.
