I wish her story can go through a good edit, so many can share and be inspired by her journey.
Thanks, Gen_g for the sensitive review. From your avatar, I suppose you are also a musician (or at least a music lover) and an animal fan.

Indeed, I do play a few instruments; music is a large part of my life. Thank you for your kind comments, Miriam!Miriam Molina wrote: ↑08 Jun 2018, 06:17 Bev seems to be an extraordinary woman. She loves music and animals, and in her late 60's, continues to undertake new endeavors. May she have more years to share with her friends, human and beast alike.

Indeed, this is a really informative read about cancer. Thank you for your kind comments!drackeye wrote: ↑10 Jun 2018, 15:23 I got to see first hand the effects all those chemo treatments have on a person as my grandfather died from brain cancer. I would expect this to be a good book for anyone who, like me, has a loved one who has cancer as it sounds like it details what you expect to happen with and around the patient.

It was a really informative read; I certainly don't regret picking it up. I do agree that being mentally strong is the most important. Thank you for your kind comments!hsimone wrote: ↑13 Jun 2018, 15:56 Breast cancer seems so scary...I have a friend who actually just finished her treatment and is cancer-free now, but I know this isn't always the case. I definitely think a lot of the healing and keeping up faith/strength is the emotional aspect, so it's great to hear that the author's love and concern for the Australian wildlife helped her heal emotionally. I think the medical jargon would be too much for me, and I agree, a glossary would probably be beneficial with a topic like this. Too bad about the slightly confusing storyline and that you had to backtrack multiple times. Also, it's too bad that there are several errors here, but I'm glad that you feel it is still worth reading. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

I agree with you, it takes a lot of courage to do so, and I think she did a good job. Thanks for the kind comments!daniya__shah3 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2018, 14:12 I think the details in the book must make it sound as stretched as original they must be. I would have read this if this didn't sound like a medical case study. However, I'm proud of the author for working up the courage to bring this book to public notice.
