It would be interesting to read about her relationships with the wildlife and to witness how that helped her health improve. I hope she will do another round of editing as this sounds like a very moving story. Thanks for the honest review!

Bev seems to be an extraordinary woman. She loves music and animals, and in her late 60's, continues to undertake new endeavors. May she have more years to share with her friends, human and beast alike.

I wish her story can go through a good edit, so many can share and be inspired by her journey.

I got to see first hand the effects all those chemo treatments have on a person as my grandfather died from brain cancer. I would expect this to be a good book for anyone who, like me, has a loved one who has cancer as it sounds like it details what you expect to happen with and around the patient.

Breast cancer seems so scary...I have a friend who actually just finished her treatment and is cancer-free now, but I know this isn't always the case. I definitely think a lot of the healing and keeping up faith/strength is the emotional aspect, so it's great to hear that the author's love and concern for the Australian wildlife helped her heal emotionally. I think the medical jargon would be too much for me, and I agree, a glossary would probably be beneficial with a topic like this. Too bad about the slightly confusing storyline and that you had to backtrack multiple times. Also, it's too bad that there are several errors here, but I'm glad that you feel it is still worth reading. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

I think the details in the book must make it sound as stretched as original they must be. I would have read this if this didn't sound like a medical case study. However, I'm proud of the author for working up the courage to bring this book to public notice.
