This book gives an opportunity to learn new customs and be transported to a different country
Wah! It is a great book for real. As a person who loves the challenge of new customs, I think I have to read this book as well. Thanks for this review.
It will be well worth your time! There are many new cultural gems to consider. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did if you get the chance to read it!

This sounds like a welcome diversion from my usual action/thriller books. I like to take a break occasionally and dive into something totally different and learn and this sounds like a great opportunity. Great review and description of the book. Another great title to add to my ever growing list of books to read.

This will definitely be a good break for you! It is far from action/thriller but will still keep you engaged and wanting to know what will happen next!

I really sounds an interesting story. I enjoy stories based on social issues. The author beautifully depicts this downtrodden class in India. I really like tour comprehensive review. Thanks.

That is so heartbreaking to grow up with the understanding that your family is "cursed" because you were not a boy. Sadly, this is the reality for so many children in the world. It's clear that such ideas took a toll on the main character. I'd like to read more to hear about how she was sold into the circus. Thank you for writing this review and sharing your thoughts.
