That is the strength of this book, I would say. The author exemplifies the faith that is required to navigate difficult times. I so appreciate your thoughtful comments. Thank you.misatifelix wrote: ↑10 Aug 2018, 11:38 This book will indeed strengthen my Christian faith. Matters of faith are metaphysics and it would take quite a while to understand the picture portrayed. But we can all agree that some situations in life are beyond our human understanding, we need a leap of faith. Life can be so difficult especially if we don't have anyone to look up to but the author encourages that all the time Christ is always with us and we should look up to Him.

Being open to a range of beliefs is important, but so is allegiance to whatever inspires faith and gratitude in our lives. It sounds like you have found what has heart and meaning for you. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.christabel88 wrote: ↑10 Aug 2018, 11:39 Interesting indeed! I'm still riled up that her body emits light and all. Thanks for the review. This is certainly not the book for me as it clashed with my faith. I guess I'm not open minded!

I so appreciate that you were open to the author's experience even though it's not your cup of tea. Thank you for your comments. I enjoy the dialogue.Kareka88 wrote: ↑10 Aug 2018, 11:41 Thank you for your review. I found it very positive and thorough. It looks like this book contains several good points on health and wellness such as Cranial/Sacral Therapy and Acupuncture for physical health and where it says “Loving who you are is the most empowering thing you will ever do for yourself, your life here, and those around you.” for emotional health. However, it misses the mark in my opinion on spiritual health. As this book may interest many people who are on a search for personal wellness and inner healing, it is not of interest to me.

Yes, I did a little bit of external research about the author. That was helpful to me as well. I hope you enjoy this author's inspiring story. Thanks so much for your comments.BookReader+6 wrote: ↑10 Aug 2018, 11:51 Thank you for your all-encompassing review of this book. Since I'm going through a time of change and self-reflection myself, I can really relate to the themes in this self-help guide. I've read the first few chapters, and am anticipating reading the rest. Caarna's theory of inner light is very insightful. Thanks also for the background information on Caarna herself, I couldn't find a bio on her. I know she gives information about herself in the book, but your review explained her history in an easy to understand way. A definate addition to my bookshelves!
