But we can all agree that some situations in life are beyond our human understanding, we need a leap of faith. Life can be so difficult especially if we don't have anyone to look up to but the author encourages that all the time Christ is always with us and we should look up to Him.
That is the strength of this book, I would say. The author exemplifies the faith that is required to navigate difficult times. I so appreciate your thoughtful comments. Thank you.

Being open to a range of beliefs is important, but so is allegiance to whatever inspires faith and gratitude in our lives. It sounds like you have found what has heart and meaning for you. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Kareka88 wrote: 10 Aug 2018, 11:41 Thank you for your review. I found it very positive and thorough. It looks like this book contains several good points on health and wellness such as Cranial/Sacral Therapy and Acupuncture for physical health and where it says “Loving who you are is the most empowering thing you will ever do for yourself, your life here, and those around you.” for emotional health. However, it misses the mark in my opinion on spiritual health. As this book may interest many people who are on a search for personal wellness and inner healing, it is not of interest to me.
I so appreciate that you were open to the author's experience even though it's not your cup of tea. Thank you for your comments. I enjoy the dialogue.

This book certainly has an interesting concept. I don't think it's the kind of book I would want to read though. It definitely seems like a spiritual read. While I do consider myself to be a spiritual person, I think Caarna may need to better assert her spiritual beliefs. I would probably have trouble reading a book in which the author is inconsistent with their views and ideas. Overall, I'm sure the book does have potential though. Good job on you review!

Thanks for the wonderful and detailed review, it provides clear information about what the book is about. I'm intrigued by the author's ability to control the elements but since we are told that we create our own reality, then why not change the weather to suit us.

Since I'm going through a time of change and self-reflection myself, I can really relate to the themes in this self-help guide. I've read the first few chapters, and am anticipating reading the rest. Caarna's theory of inner light is very insightful. Thanks also for the background information on Caarna herself, I couldn't find a bio on her. I know she gives information about herself in the book, but your review explained her history in an easy to understand way. A definate addition to my bookshelves!
Yes, I did a little bit of external research about the author. That was helpful to me as well. I hope you enjoy this author's inspiring story. Thanks so much for your comments.

I have read so many books of this genre that I’m a little burnt out on it. Your review helped me to decide to pass on it for now as it sounds so similar to so many that I have already read. For those who are just delving in, it sounds like a good start to the genre.

I think there are a lot of people that would appreciate the teachings in this book, but I would like to pass on that. I am not so much inclined to reading material focusing on the Self, the Consciousness, and other philosophical spiritual aspects of human beings. I mostly do not understand what it means really, it is too deep for me I guess. But the book sounded to be real interest. The author most definitely used catchy lines and phrases to grab the utmost attention of the reader. Thanks for such a lovely review.

"The Secret" is one of my favorite all time books. Reading Caarna's stories and life experiences will definatley be exciting for me. This is a book for open minded people. Have read too many books in this genre, hence will add it to my "want to read" and revisit it later

Happiness is relative and what brings happiness vary from person to person. Caarna's belief that happiness is the result of conscious life choices and is built on a foundation of five aspects: community, gratitude, optimism, present moment awareness, and a sense of purpose is acceptable but not universal because humans are not the same. Living in the Space of Light as book gives further insight on concept and definition of happiness.

This non-fictional self-help book sounds intriguing and full of spiritual lessons. The author wants the readers to live their best lives and finding happiness, health, and spirituality. Congrats on book of the day! Great review!

Thank you for a very interesting and detailed review, but this book includes too many truisms for me to actually have the patience to read it. Besides, I am also rather skeptical with respect to the author's supposedly healing powers.

I`ve never read something about diverse training and resources to help people find and access their own inner healer, but it sounds quite original and different.

Very interesting state of conscience that has been described in the pages of the free sample that was available. It is a book that explains a certain viewpoint relating to experiencing and being light and I found it to be an inspiring book. It mentions the interconnectednesses between various sciences and beliefs. I would surely consider to complete reading the book in the future.
