You are so right. How we view the world and our attitude toward life definitely affects our overall health. I appreciate your comments.RT_offscript wrote: ↑10 Aug 2018, 12:03 Thanks for the review! "Living in the Space of Light" sounds like an interesting read! Although some of the concepts might feel extreme, I believe that Caarna's career is quite noble.
Like you stated, readers of this book need to have open minds, which will help readers realize that the author discovered happiness; and she is devoted to sharing her formula with the world to help others experience a sense of purpose and fulfillment in their lives. By doing so, Carrna probably hopes to also improve one's health, which can be very dependent upon one's happiness.

I think you bring forward a really interesting question. The idea that nothing happens by accident is definitely meant to be all-encompassing. All experiences. It is very challenging to accept that even the painful and horrible might be "invited" into our lives. I think the principle at the heart of this concept is about our soul's path. I believe the author is saying that there are aspects of our soul's path that we can't fully understand or evaluate from our human perspective, and that the experiences we draw to us always assist us with our soul's growth in some way. I really appreciate the question and the dialogue. Thank you.Alicia09 wrote: ↑10 Aug 2018, 12:08 "One of twelve Universal laws, this one proclaims that nothing happens by accident – that we invite every person, experience, and circumstance to our lives, even the terrible ones."
This is an interesting idea for the author to take when writing this book. Is she suggesting that major issues one could experience like being murdered are also something we bring about, or is she only talking about minor issues like small arguments with friends?

Yes, I think you are right. We'd best proceed with caution when embracing any new spiritual or religious belief system. There are definitely aspects of the Law of Attraction that ring true to me and some that I think are misinterpreted. Thank you for the thoughtful comment.Rosebella wrote: ↑10 Aug 2018, 12:11 The book sounds like a fascinating read. Eckhart Tolle's teaching fascinated me. While I agree with the power of attraction to some degree there still aspects that I don't agree with. New age religion is a line that must be crossed carefully because it's easy to find yourself in a cult.
Overall great review, and it is a book that will definitely get you thinking.
